Butterfly Garden Cafe at Dolfingers

At Butterfly Garden Cafe, we strive to create an inviting, relaxed atmosphere through friendly service, fresh and wholesome ingredients, and creative cooking. Our menu features delicious traditional lunch fare including soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. We offer a variety of hot teas, spiced chai, and a flavored iced tea of the day. Our signature Tuscan Tomato soup, Pear and Gorgonzola Salad, Benedictine, and Pumpkin Crisp are just some of the many treats we present on our menu everyday. In addition to our regular menu items, we create a special seasonal salad and sandwich.

Butterfly Garden Cafe opened inside of Dolfinger's in March 2009. The original Butterfly Garden Cafe, owned and operated by Emily Peters, opened in 2000 in the Highlands on Bardstown Road. Virtually everything about Butterfly Garden Cafe at Dolfinger's is identical to the cafe in the Highlands, including the menu, hours, and most importantly the people!

Reservations are taken only for parties of 5 or more. Smaller parties will be served on a first come, first serve basis. The cafe tends to fill up quickly so we always recommend that customers on a tight schedule come earlier or later in the day, before 11:30 a.m. or after 1:30 p.m.

Catering and Private Parties

Butterfly Garden Cafe also offers corporate catering and welcomes private parties. We work with many regular corporate clients and deliver breakfasts and lunches to offices around the city. Please call for more details.

Butterfly Garden Cafe has hosted special occasions for almost 10 years. We specialize in baby and bridal showers, as well as bridal luncheons and teas. But any occasion that serves as a point of gathering or celebration would be perfect in our cafe, such as birthdays, holiday parties, church groups, and club or corporate meetings. We work with you to create the perfect menu for your event, whether it be an afternoon tea, a lunch, brunch, or even dinner. We do the cooking, serving and, best of all, cleaning all for you!
